To protect the health of the public and protect the environment by producing a clean effluent which flows to the Connecticut River from sanitary and industrial sewage that flows into the WPCF . To do so safely, efficiently and cost effectively.

The WPCF is responsible for the operations of the Treatment Facility, Pump Stations (8) & Pump Station force mains.
Sewer abatement requests can be made to the Town Hall Selectboard office or to the WPCF. Be advised that a request must be submitted within 30 days of the bill date per Massachusetts General Law. Sewer Abatement Request Form.
The WPCF & water districts are seperate departments. The water districts provide water use readings to the Town Hall & WPCF for generation of the fiscal year sewer use bills.

Montague is updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan and invites Town officials, stakeholders, and the community to learn about Montague’s top priority actions to address natural hazards and the impacts of a changing climate.
The Town requests proposals for public social service programs that will meet the needs of Town residents for inclusion in its FY2020 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application. All proposed programs must address needs identified in the T
