Special Events Bluefish swim team swim-a-thon fundraiser Family Fun Fall Day - Scarecrow Making Workshop: Held on a Sunday afternoon in October. Come create your own scarecrow to take home and have fun. A small fee, all materials provided along with refreshments. Halloween Parade: An Annual Rag Shag Parade sponsored by the VFW with prizes and refreshments offered at the VFW Hall for everyone 6th grade and younger. Costume judging and fun for everyone all for FREE. Easter Egg Hunt: Held the Saturday before Easter for children ages 4-12, 10:00 a.m. at Unity Park. Children will have the challenge of finding well over 4,000 candy and toy filled eggs. Contact the MPRD for information about any of the above events.
